After last week’s dip below $6,000 twice, the cryptocurrency market is now hitting back up, as it appears to be recovering slightly.
As of July 2, Bitcoin is now above $6,500 and is trading for around $6,599. It is up by around 4 percent over a 24 hour period. Ethereum on the other hand is also up by around 6 percent over a 24 hour period and is trading at $470. Out of the top ten coins of CoinMarketCap, the most up is IOTA, with around 9 percent over a 24-hour period and is trading at $1.13.
EOS is also up by 8.5 percent and is trading at $8.69 in just a 24 hour period. This platform was launched just in the beginning of June after completing a $4 billion ICO. EOS has been having some issues in governance due to their system’s lack of centralized enforcement over their Block Producers.
From last week’s low point of $232 billion total market cap, as of July 2, total market cap is up at $269 billion.
