Britain’s Youngest Billionaire is the Co-founder of BITMEX


Daily Mail reports on July 2 that Ben Delo is the youngest self-made billionaire in Britain. Delo is a graduate of Oxford and the co-founder of crypto exchange BITMEX.

According to Coinmarketcap, Delo’s crypto exchange platform is one of the largest in the world with a daily trade volume of $2 billion according to data. At aged 34, he founded BITMEX in 2014 that he used to work 18 hours a day just to build his platform.

The oxford graduate, Delo, finished a first-class degree, majoring in mathematics and computer science. With his experience as a VP at JP Morgan, and as a software engineer at IBM, the youngest billionaire is now based in Hong Kong, according to Daily Mail.

The youngest billionaire said that he mimics the lifestyle of two US billionaire investors, Bill Gates and Warren Buffet, saying that he would like to give away his money for charity purposes.

Bitcoinchart reported in January that there were no less than 35 bitcoin billionaires around the world, and could possibly reach 200.

Holding 91,666 Bitcoins in December, worth $1.063 billion at that time, the Winklevoss twins was the first bitcoin billionaire.
